It’s been 20 years since I first created a website, so I thought it was time to give it another go. Here you can learn about my middle grade fantasy novel, The Keeper of Portals, and my young adult supernatural novel, The Archivist, which will be published in Spring 2022. I’m also working on a middle grade science fiction novel about a girl who sells marbles that can stop time, hopefully that will be available in late 2023 or early 2024.

As a quick note, and to get it out of the way, it turns out there is another author called V S Nelson. Now, this is my mistake as the other V S Nelson did come first. Also, V S Nelson isn’t even my name! Nelson is one of my three cats, the S comes from another cat (Sabrina) and the V is from my daughter (Violet). Like a fool, I didn’t check to see if there was another author called V S Nelson. Anyway, this is where we are and there’s little I can do about it now. So, if you’re looking for strange science fiction or fantasy stories for middle grade and young adult readers, then I have good news because you’re in the right place! However, if you’re after Ancient Egyptian erotica, then I have a feeling you’re going to be disappointed. Sorry about that.
